Bring your mothers, daughters, grandmothers, and friends to Kimberbell’s Vintage Flora! At this four-hour Spark Event, you’ll create a classic zipper pouch, with scalloped quilting and eyelet lace. You’ll also make an heirloom purse topped by a brass metal clasp! Choose one of the two floral designs to embellish your purse, then take additional designs with you to stitch later. Made in a 4 x 4 and 5 x 7 embroidery hoops, both event projects are classy for every generation. When you arrive at a Kimberbell Event, you’ll receive an exclusive sewing bag filled with Kimberbell fabric, paper tape, ribbon, buttons, and more to make two amazing event projects. Step-by-step instructions and a project CD (with additional sizes), goodies, and snacks. Are you new to embroidery or want to try embroidery? Then this is the event for you also! If you do not own an embroidery machine, we have a few machines that are available to borrow. Please request one when registering. What to stay longer and embroider? We will leave our classroom open until 4 and with the purchase of additional clasps, zippers and fabric you can create some additional purses!
