The good news is that there are lots of great tutorials to help you master the art of adding zippers to any project! Today we round up our tried-and-true favorites to give you the ultimate zipper reference.
First off, it’s important to understand the various presser feet that come with your sewing machine - as you might have guessed, the zipper foot is recommended for installing zippers successfully! Bernina has an excellent guide to zipper feet, found here.
The most simple application we’ve found (and refer to constantly) comes from the Lazy Girl Designs blog. We recommend starting with “How to Install a Zipper and Enjoy It,” then continuing on to “A Zipper Technique Sew Easy You’ll Think You Cheated.”
